
Youth Orchestra
Programs
Our programs provide advanced musical training for young musicians. Students participate in sectionals, weekly rehearsals, and live performances and benefit from coaching sessions with Philharmonic musicians.
Symphony
LEVEL: Full Symphony Orchestra
INSTRUMENTS: Flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, percussion, and strings (violin, viola, cello, and bass)
AGE: Grades 8-12
REHEARSALS: Sundays from 1:30-3:30 pm
Prelude
LEVEL: Intermediate String Ensemble
INSTRUMENTS: Violin, viola, cello, and bass
AGE: Grades 6-9
REHEARSALS: Sundays from 4:00-5:30 pm

Tuition and Fees
There is a non-refundable $25 registration fee to audition. Once students have been notified of their acceptance into one of the orchestras, there is an additional tuition. This can be paid in full or in three (3) installments, due by May 18th, August 1st, and September 1st. If for any reason a student must leave the orchestra, the tuition will be not be refunded.
